Details

Memory Foam was originally used for rocket seating, but also finds use in beds. Modern bedding uses Rayon-woven memory foam.

2 Aniline (l) + Formaldehyde (l) + Hydrochloric Acid (aq) (catalyst) -> 8 Methylenedianiline (s) + Water (l)
2C6H5NH2 (l) + CH2O (l) -> C13H14N2 (s) + H2O (l)

8 Methylenedianiline (s) + 2 Phosgene (g) -> 10 Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) (s) + 4 Hydrochloric Acid (aq)
C13H14N2 (s) + 2COCl2 (g) -> C15H10N2O2 (s) + 4HCl (aq)

3 Ethanolamine (l) + Zeolite (s) (catalyst) -> 8 Triethylenediamine (DABCO) (s) + 1 Ammonia (g) + 3 Steam (g)
3H2NCH2CH2OH (l) → N(CH2CH2)3N (s) + NH3 (g) + 3H2O (g)
This step is performed under high heat.

10 MDI (s) + Ethylene Glycol (l) + 100L Water (l) + DABCO (s) (catalyst) -> 2 Viscoelastic Polyurethane Foam (s) + 100L Carbon Dioxide (g)
C15H10N2O2 (s) + C2H6O2 (l) -> (C15H10N2O2)C2H6O2 (s)

Viscoelastic Polyurethane Foam (s) + 36L Silicone Rubber (Polydimethylsiloxane) (l) -> Memory Foam (s)
This step would likely be performed in a mixer.

Rayon (aka Viscose)

Rayon is produced with the Viscose Process.

Wood or Bamboo Pulp (s) + 3 Sodium Hydroxide (s) + Water (l) -> 4 Alkali Cellulose (s)

4 Alkalai Cellulose (s) + Carbon Disulfide (l) -> 4 Sodium Cellulose Xanthate (s)
C6H9O5Na (s) + CS2 (l) -> C6H9O5CS2Na (s)

8 Sodium Cellulose Xanthate (s) + Sulfuric Acid (aq) -> 2 Rayon (s) + 2 Carbon Disulfide (l) + 7 Sodium Sulfate (s)
2C6H9O5CS2Na (s) + H2SO4 (aq) -> (C6H9O5H)2 (s) + 2CS2 (l) + Na2SO4 (s)
Depending on the structure arrangement, this step also will produce Cellophane instead of Rayon.

Uses - Beds

Rayon (s) -> 8 Rayon Fibers (s)
Rayon must be extruded into Fibers, aka Fine Wire.

8 Steel Springs + 2 Steel Frameboxes -> Mattress Boxspring (assembler)

16 Memory Foam Sheets + 64 Rayon Fibers -> Memory Foam Mattress (assembler or loom)

Mattress Boxspring + Memory Foam Mattress + 8 Wooden Plates + 4 Long Wood Sticks -> Empty Bed

4 Wool + 32 String / Cotton + Dye -> Bedsheets (assembler or loom)
1 Wool + 8 String + Dye -> Pillowcase (assembler or loom)
Pillow Case + 64 Feathers -> Down Pillow (packager)
Pillow Case + Memory Foam Block -> Memory Foam Pillow (packager)

Empty Bed + Bedsheets + Any Pillow -> Vanilla Bed
