Nightly build doesn't seem to run on OSX Catalina

OS: OSX 10.15
Nightly Build Version: ??? (Downloaded December 16th, 2020)
Issue: black screen, EROFS error

Should I just try to build from the repo instead? Any help is appreciated!

Seems like the location we use to write our config file is not valid on OSX. We need to use the user application directory.

I'm getting a black screen now after a year of using it. I'm not sure what changed.
