Dear INSPIRE geoportal team,

after the last metadata harvesting from our national CSW endpoint, we noticed that not all services were found and published in INSPIRE geoportal. One wfs and one wms services of Meteorological geographical features theme were missing. (https://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/srv/eng/catalog.search#/datasetdetails?country=lt&view=themeOverview&theme=none&resourceId=efe6d78b-d678-4c3b-8405-11df5465f25c)
Today we tested INSPIRE sandbox again and all 66 WMS and 1 WFS from our CSW endpoint were found.

I would like to request a harvest metadata from Lithuania CSW endpoint to the INSPIRE Geoportal again or maybe you could check why the sandbox and the INSPIRE production geonetwork harvest results are different?

Thank you,
Juliana

Dear @JulianaKar ,
A new updated Link-Checker will be rolled out in production this week.
This new version of the Link-Checker is correcting some bugs detected in the processing of the protocol field (from the onlineResource), while relaxing the requirements for matching INSPIRE identifier between the services and the dataset/series metadata files.
Once the update is up and running in production, we will re-harvest your endpoint.
Will keep you posted.

Dear @JulianaKar,

As notified here, this afternoon we rolled out in the production harvesting console a new updated version of the GeoNetwork-based Link-Checker - see #233 - and we harvested and published the results for the LT national endpoint.

We obtained the following results:

I harvested again LT in Sandbox - which is using the same version of the Link-Checker (see #232) - getting this result (similar, just 1 viewable less in Sandbox - probably due to the different executions in time):

Could you please check if your issue was solved?

Dear @jescriu,

we checked the published metadata in the INSPIRE geoportal. That one extra view service appeared in INSPIRE geoportal because as-is metadata record cached the WMS layer of compliant metadata record. The layer names in both metadata records were similar, so it might be the reason ( namespaces of layers were different, so we thought that it won't happen). We changed the layer name in as-is record now. The correct number of WMS should be 66.

We noticed that view and download services of several themes are displayed incorrectly. For unknown reason, WMS layers of one theme appear next to another theme layer list and there are to many download buttons shown (AC, MF, AF, EF, AD themes). For example: https://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu/srv/eng/catalog.search#/datasetdetails?country=lt&view=themeOverview&theme=none&resourceId=7e22910f-0b5c-41ae-b06f-5cfa83666c3f

In addition, there are inaccuracies in MF and AC themes. We changed layer name prefixes from ACMF.* to MF.* and AC.* , but we still see layers with old prefixes in INSPIRE geoportal next to the new ones, but in our metadata records the is no layers with ACMF.* prefixes.

Lastly, the preview map doesn't show any layer data in all metadata records.

We found these problems and tried to solve things which might happened in our national CSW endpoint, but the situation in the sandbox looks good, so at the moment we did what we could.

If there is still something what we might missed, just let us know.

Juliana

Dear @JulianaKar ,
we will proceed to harvest your endpoint in the production harvesting console during this week, as a previous test before the official harvest to be used for the Monitoring and Reporting 2024, that we will take place from next week.
The JRC will report on the tools to be used for the Monitoring and Reporting during the 80th MIG-T Meeting.

Dear @jescriu,

the number of services is correct, but I can't see if the situation with the assignment of preview and download services to separate themes has been resolved. For this reason, I will wait for an update to the production version.
