Dear INSPIRE Registry Community members,
In view of the upcoming 74 MIG-T Meeting scheduled on 28th April, we would like to draw your attention - particularly to INSPIRE MIG-T representatives - on the open actions to reactivate the governance of the INSPIRE Registry.
The purpose of this post is to push for the necessary updates to the current list of “INSPIRE Registry - Submitting Organisations” points of contact managed in the INSPIRE Registry helpdesk, which will help the registry managers in performing their tasks by filtering and validating the change proposals to the content INSPIRE Registry collected in your respective countries.
For this purpose, we kindly request INSPIRE MIG-T representatives to provide by 14th April the details of the updated / newly appointed Submitting Organisation’s points of contact for your country (including: organisation name, name and surname of the contact point, working email, and GitHub user ID) - by sending an email TO Jordi Escriu ([email protected]), while adding Arantza Etxebarria ([email protected]) and Juan Martin Pelegrina ([email protected]) in CC - currently acting as INSPIRE Registry managers.
Note that this is especially needed in case your country has not any appointed Submitting Organisation yet in the list.
Finally, we would like to inform the community that, given the absence of enough candidates to become part of the Control Body for the INSPIRE Registry, the JRC INSPIRE Team will be presenting a new proposal for its Terms of Reference for potential endorsement in the next MIG-T Meeting.
If the proposal is endorsed, the aim is to start voting on a first bunch of change proposals to the INSPIRE Registry content (to be progressively populated within the next weeks) in the same meeting. Therefore, we suggest MIG-T community to start analysing these change proposals some days in advance to the meeting.
Best regards,
The JRC INSPIRE team.
