Can I install a GUI with CasaOs or do I need to use an external SSD?

Thanks.

CasaOS has a GUI. What are you trying to do? Your question is not clear as it is written.

I don't want to use the casaOS GUI. Instead I want to clone the hard drive from my server, which runs Ubuntu Server 20.04 and uses the XFCE Desktop. I cloned that drive successfully; the system boots using one of the ZimaBoard's SATA ports. I believe that, since my server used a different system, the appropriate ethernet drivers need to be added/installed. Can you tell me where I can download those drivers?

I am a homelab noob, but you might look into installing Cockpit which can give you more functionality than what CasaOS provides natively. Someone else might have some further advice for you.
