Problem registering/logging in an existing IRC character

1. Go to irc.freenode.net/#idlebot
2. Try to login using the same name as your IRC name
3. Get error "player does not exist"

Coincidentally, registering using the same name gives the following error:

Yeah, nothing has changed. There's no check on using the wrong identifier in front of a username, so such an error never gets reported back to a frontend.

Same goes for the odd console error in webFE, when trying to register an already used username, tied to a different identifier.
