Although documented, the reset method of the XMM instance does not seem to be implemented. This method is essential when decoding with a HMM, because the results are dependent on past observations.

That's a weird issue ... from memory, I would say that it is implemented. I should go back into the code to double check, but at least I remember experiencing crashes because of forgetting to call reset before calling filter on HMM models, which is not the case with GMM models. This makes sense because one should never need to call reset with a GMM model (or am I mistaken ?). Maybe that's more a doc issue ...
