I faced the same issue with Talkilla.
All in all, the social API breaks when this add-on is enabled.
Given the extreme usefulness of this addon, I would love if this issue is 
resolved or explained by the developer.

Unfortunately I've not found the time necessary to excavate the Firefox source 
code to find what SocialAPI does and how JSONovich can detect it. A workaround 
I've found that appears to work in my limited testing is to open JSONovich's 
options and remove JavaScript MIME types.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who uses the Social API if this is still relevant considering the very different method used by the new webextension implementation.
