setSupportProgressBarIndeterminateVisibility

i'm use the code in the activity extends SherlockActivity
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);  
requestWindowFeature(Window.FEATURE_INDETERMINATE_PROGRESS);
setContentView(R.layout.main);

}
then i install the app.
In the android 2.x ,when the activity run, i see the IndeterminateProgress is turning.
but int the android 3.0 and 4.x, it not turning.
why?

I do not want to set setSupportProgressBarIndeterminateVisibility(false) on each page!
