Alright first I'll go with the good part (so you don't feel like I'm constantly trying to call the ui bad :p)

Now, for the suggestion, this thing doesn't make much sense

And there is the same thing here:

These categories (or whatever you call them) don't need to be repeated in the menu as well as the slide up (the chapter menu)

They are enough in one section and the second picture one looks better

if u scroll up, that button will disappear and u can only choose translations from that list

So the third thing, wouldnt it be better to merge the page slider in this empty space.

Yes i know that it would like like before, but maybe tweak somethings to make it still look different

How about you move the 2 icons on the bar bar to the top and keep the slider alone at the bottom.
(the bookmark is already up there and the show/hide wouldnt be needed then)

actually, i dont like the bar with only slider, i really want a flexible bar in terms of features :p

You can implement switching between the slider and the menu bar using a swipe or something without displaying both of them at one

Alright so one final change, suppose you removed the categories from the dropdown menu (the repeated ones i talked about earlier), there would be these three things left :

Now the thing is, there is a menu at the top as well and these remaining icons could be removed my merging. The delete from history can be moved to the top menu, incognito mode one isnt needed and download button is also already at the top menu bar.

This would also solve the bad transition from the continue button as well, as it could then be moved to the the centre:
