Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
At UMN, we are not sure why but sometimes the I2C locks up preventing any further communication.

Describe the solution you'd like
The goal would be to develop some means to reset the I2C state as if it was just rebooted.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Currently, our solution is to do a power cycle of the board but that's tedious and requires physical access.

Jeremy pointed out to me that sudo fw-loader reload does the reset I'm trying to talk about.

Probably not going to put this into pflib itself, but it is helpful to know.
