In some Rutul varieties, in constructions where the A is expressed by second person singular and P is expressed by first person singular, the two pronouns may coalesce and the ergative marker on the first element is dropped (also cf. feature «Coalescence in I-ERG you.sg-ABS construction»). The map shows presence of this phenomenon (as an alternative to the full construction).
