The map shows whether the quotative marker xur (fu in Khnov) is used in reported speech construction. The first response for each of two stimuli is taken into account. YES means that the marker was used in response to both stimuli; NO means that the marker was not used in response to both stimuli; CONTRARY means that for one of stimuli the marker was used, and for another it was not. We used Russian stimuli that contained the Russian quotative marker мол.
