I was thinking we could allow users to provide confounds that aren't compatible with our external regressor option, such as statistical maps (e.g., CBF map) or 4D time series (e.g., rapidtide's sLFO regressor, RETROICOR regressors).
Is there some way we could not just characterize these external regressors and refine them to retain TE-independent signals only? Is that even possible?
