My KCX_BT_EMITTER is a bit different from the one mentioned here (see photo). There is a jumper on the PCB, which is I left open and then it is in transmitter mode. I have audio signal on Audio_L and Audio_R with common ground on AGND. I do not use any other functions. Pairing with my Sony headphone and Samsung earbuds is going well, but unfortunately I don't hear any audio.

Does anyone have a suggestion of what might go wrong?

Sorry, this response is basically "I don't know".
My experience with up-to-date bluetooth earphones is that it would not connect. The version of the module I am using is for bluetooth 4.2, and the earphones were 5.something. Maybe the earphone chose not to accept the signal? I don't know. When I started looking for a bluetooth speaker, I realized that I should choose older speakers and maybe they would not all work. Eventually I may move to a version with a more up-to-date bluetooth, but so far this one does what I am trying to do and I have spent some time learning how to make it work reliably so I will probably use it for a few more years.

Thank you for your message. I know it is sometimes difficult to pair BT but the pairing works fine, just no sound. In the meantime I tested with Samsung Earbuds, a Sony Headphone and a set of very cheap earbuds from AliExpress. I can pair them all, pretty quickly, but no sound.

Maybe I have a faulty module, maybe there is another problem with my version. All I can do now is to be patient and wait for the old version to be delivered. Besides the radio works well through a pair of wired speakers ;-)
