[Request] Mac or Java (platform independant)

Would it be possible to release a version of the server that runs on Mac, or is platform independant (so, made in Java and compiled as .jar)? I'd be happy to accept a command-line version if you don't feel like making a GUI. Alternatively, it'd be nice to have an SD card version, like SDCafiine. I want to back up my savegames but I seriously don't want to have to purchase a windows computer just to do so. And also, yes, I did try running it with Wine. It created two empty folders in the directory, named saviine_root and logs, and then promptly crashed, and refused to run afterward.
