Drop support for Python 3.6 after next (6.0.0) release?

Python 3.6 has reached its end of life. In fact Python 3.7 will reach its end of life in about 6 months.

How do folks feel about dropping support for Python 3.6 after the next 6.0.0 release?

We should also focus on getting Python 3.10 and Python 3.11 working. 3.11 reportedly has significant speedups in execution.
