playback on Chromecast Audio fails

The last .apk that works for me to stream audio content to my Chromcast Audio device is 3.3.40. If I upgrade past that, say 3.3.43, it stops working.

Something happened between these two builds that broke Chromecast Audio playback.

Of course, the latest build, 3.4.20 , also fails.

I messed around with the mbps limits for my user (in the web gui) and for Chromecast transcoding settings (in the android app), I set it to something other than "Auto" and it appears to have fixed it for the latest 3.4.20 build. Not sure which setting fixed it.
