We should be able to test them using this plugin: https://www.npmjs.com/package/cypress-file-upload

If it works as I expect, the plugin needs be added to
./frontend/nix/tools/cypress/node-packages.json

Than node2nix needs recreate the lockfile
./frontend/nix/tools/cypress/README.md

To finally use it ./frontend/submission/cypress/support needs the changed described at
https://www.npmjs.com/package/cypress-file-upload#installation
