The alert box pops up for a second, then vanishes, leaving just the darkening div visible.

To replicate, open up the examples page and run the default alert in Mobile Safari in landscape mode. Without tabs showing, it works great. Now tap the top of the screen to get the Safari tabs to show (make sure you've got another page open elsewhere).

Once the tabs are open, click the "Run Example" button again and watch the alert box appear and subsequently vanish :(

I've tried it on iPhone 6 but wasn't able to reproduce the issue you described! Or is it an iPad issue?

Hmm, I'm on a 6s plus... I just tried it in the simulator and it's the same behaviour. I've made a video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwAf2_ytZJs

Thank you for the video! On iPhone 6, there is no tabs bar :)
