Audi TTs MK3 MIB-GEM not showing after install

Hi All,

I'm new to the scene but i've read many things on how to enable carplay on my 2016 Audi TTS. :-)
And i came across M.I.B.

Everything seems to be fine.
I've update my 5F to version 1339 (8S0035044) and ID 17 to version 0296 (8S0920790A)

I created a SD card with the M.I.B. Patch on it. And it ran fine.
But The GEM item is not displayed when i go to the green developer menu.
Only Debugger Function and GSS overthere.
Carplay is not activated ..
What am i doing wrong ?

Seems like the MIB did his job ?

Looking at the LOG you did not run the patch yet.

Thank you for your reply, that is correct. Since i don't see the MIB - GEM Menu item when i'm in the developer menu.
So i cannot run the patch .. But as i could understand from the logs, MIB did install correctly ?

SD card has to be in unit to show M.I.B

Yes, the SD card is in SD1 Slot the whole time.

your GEM ist not stock, someone already played with it.
You really updated from stock FW to MU1339-MHI2_ER_AU43x_P5098?

First of all thank you for all your expertise and time for this. I really appreciate it.
Oh, i see... must explain a lot. I bought the car 2nd hand in 2018 .. so it might be.
And I updated from 0229 to 1339 yesterday.

Only idea I have is, that you run the FW Update again.
custom „Full SWDL“.

M.I.B SD Card was plugged in, when you entered GEM?

Thanks again ! yes the card was in SD1 the whole time.
Let's see if i can figure out the custom the "full SWDL" part. Is there a topic somewhere that relates to this subject ?

Got it to work with the custom "full swdl" method. It was a very satisfying option, my brains almost exploded 🤪 **Thanks ☺️ very happy with it ! 🙏🙏👍👍
