Anyone know what the differences between machine types 0x07d8 and 0x07d2 are? These are the machine types found in the headers of compiled CPU kernels (ELF files). Compiling a 32bit and 64bit CPU kernel on a Xeon E5-2697A v4 gives a machine type of 0x07d8. However, Multi2Sim is expecting a machine type of 0x07d2, which, I venture, would be compatible with Multi2Sim's x86 emulator. What’s the difference and what machine type is 0x07d2?
