Trees should require at least 3 logs with adjacent leaves (although the leaves don't necessarily need to be the same as the tree as there may be no programmatic way to determine what it is)

Trees should be specified via a log itemstack instead of by tree type to allow for modded trees

Offering plates is already done.

Trees are now converted into runed wood pillars. So it's just incense now.
