Roots will hit a stable version for 1.12.2 before it is ported to modern Minecraft. It's in the process of a bit of a transition and that really needs to be completed first.

I have no idea if there's a rule against asking for updates, but I want to explain so that you're not waiting, and honestly I'm starting to get an itch to see what I could do in 1.16 with mods as well. Just to be clear, it will happen- but not until 3.1 is stable and ready for release.

And 1.12.2 will come out quicker the more testing and bug-finding that happens! I post alpha builds on our Discord (linkedf rom the main Roots page on CurseForge) in the testing channels. I'll leave this open so people see it.
