The decision was reached among CCPP developers in the past month to rename CCPP suites to have non-descriptive names. This will be done for several reasons, which are outlined in detail in this presentation.

Guidelines have been added to CCPP technical documentation here.

  • Suites will be renamed randomly (using bird names initially)
  • A descriptive comment has been added to all suite files.
  • An alias file “alias.json” is included for reference.
