From meeting with Arden on 8/16/2016. Since the NM EMRs are coded with ICD9/ICD10 diagnosis codes, it would be more convenient to use them than SNOMED codes. Not ideal since ICD9/ICD10 codes are not OHDSI standard concepts. But the system needs to put usability above shareability. If required a map to SNOMED could be easily done later.
