Getting started with Remix

This project will be our first time using the React framework Remix. For those familiar with Next.js from working on EDDE, Remix satisfies a similar set of needs but differs in some important ways. Remix is built on top of, and by the same authors as, React Router. I encourage everyone to spend some time going through Remix's quick start and tutorial before picking up Issues for this repo.

If folks are interested, I can write up something on why I think we need a framework like this and why we're trying out Remix over Next.
