Steps to reproduce

  • Start the download a file from a client on the network
  • Access the "Monitoring" section within the NethSecurity dashboard.
  • Select the "Real-time traffic" tab.
  • Observe the traffic values reported under "Applications" and "Protocols" while actively monitoring live network traffic.
  • Cross-check the reported traffic values with the actual traffic being generated

Expected behavior

The traffic values displayed in the "Applications" and "Protocols" sections should reflect the real traffic generated by the hosts of the network.

Actual behavior

The "Applications" and "Protocols" sections report incorrectly inflated traffic values

Don't think this is going to be solved on our side, the value you see are pulled from netifyd daemon, maybe @cotosso could open a ticket and check how things are with them.
