My Arduino UNO is not connecting after failed hoodloader2 burning attempt. #113

After successfully uploading the installation sketch on my Arduino UNO r3 board, I wired it up and checked the connections thoroughly too. For the capacitor, I used a 104 ceramic capacitor and also checked the jumper cables if they were broken. I plugged it into my PC. But even after more than one minute, the LED kept blinking slowly, which indicates that the bootloader burning attempt was a failure. After that, tried to connect it to my PC and re-upload the sketch, but even after multiple attempts of connecting the Arduino, it didn't show up. The only change that occurred after that failed attempt is the led blinks every 1 sec for 5 times and then it stops for 5-6 sec and then continues again.

I am having the same issue, I weirdly enough used the same type of ceramic capacitor, but mine blinked the success lights. It couldn't connect however, and I don't have another board to use to flash a new bootloader on
