Add colour gradient to the dots #6
Comments
I tried this with my final prototype. PHE use a similar categorical colour scheme with their spine charts. |
Think this works well when you only have one area selected. Not sure how it would work when you've got more than one? |
Maybe just the background of the jitter then, maybe in bands of 1SD, a bit like how the central average region is coloured |
Yeah I thought something like that might work... though suspect we'd run into contrast issues? Maybe just either side of the middle band to signify good/bad? |
The position rather than the colour of the dots indicates whether they are ‘negative’, ‘neutral’ or ‘positive’. |
Add some good/bad colours to the dots so they are easier to read, perhaps shades of colours for each SD away from the mean.
