Summarising some requests from DLUHC and others.

Feel free to use this discussion thread to add more requests. For new chart types, please use this other thread instead.

• Optional median/average lines on charts.
• Custom text annotations (with lines) on charts.
• Custom filled regions etc on charts (to add context to annotations).
• Trend lines (internally calculated and/or based on pre-calculated data values).
• Improved hover functionality (eg. using quadtree to highlight specific data points + better control of the content of tooltips).

Note that components exist for some of the above, but require us to create examples of their usage.

Is it aleady possibly to add box annotations on arbirarily defined regions on a plot? If so, are there any examples available of how to do this?
