Adding tab apps in Shared Channel is faulty.
Tested in Microsoft Edge, Client version 1415/24102001318. The native Teams app is also affected.

  1. Create a new team
  2. Create a shared channel below
  3. Click plus button in the shared channel. Try to add an app like “Project Plan” (other apps also affected!)… won’t appear even though it support shared channels
  4. Click plus button in the general channel, add app “Project Plan” to the general channel -> OK
  5. Click plus button in the shared channel. Try to add app “Project Plan” again -> An error message appears
  6. Log out of Teams account / relaunch Microsoft Teams / relaunch browser
  7. Click plus button in the shared channel. Try to add app again -> Now it works
