it's to document how to submit issues, i think right now the only thing is a github issues badge under each project on the website. We want to direct people to use github issues for ve/mms/mdk (i'm not sure if the wiki page is a good place though)

Can we not just augment https://www.openmbee.org/contribute.html# and then package that context as a CONTRIBUTING.md within each project repository...?

yea, we can just fold this under the general website overhaul. The complication with some of them is there used to be jira projects in https://openmbee.atlassian.net/jira/projects, we decided to move to github issues a while ago and copied over still relevant tickets, but i saw there was new tickets in those jira recently. trying to find a way to make those jira projects read only.
