As other have reported, Chromium is currently broken in OpenELEC due to the undefined symbol png_set_longjmp_fn in libpng.

Chromium is build with libpng 1.16.22 whereas OpenELEC ships with libpng 1.16.27.

The version of Chromium in this repo is 49, current version is 56 - I think an update might be a god idea here in general ;)

I can confirm chromium browser is broken on openELEC 7.0.1
I used openELEC addons (unofficial) -> program addons -> chromium 7.0.3 fresh install
I am running build kodi 16.1 Jan 11/2017 generic x86_64
