Feature Request

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Currently there is no way to debug your application in case of errors. We have a case where everything is working fine on Liberty standalone, but using OpenLiberty in Openshift there is an error. -> No way to debug currently.

Describe the solution you'd like

A way to expose your debugging port so you can connect your IDE remote debugger.

There is two reason to not expose debug ports:

  1. If you have multiple pods it's ambiguous to which one the service/port will connect to
  2. Generally for any debugging it is possible to use kubectl port-forward POD_NAME loalPort:remotePort or same command using oc
