Describe the bug/issue

i try to connect with alvr server and don't work, the log says ''Handshake error for 2918.client.alvr: A connection attempt failed because the connected component did not respond\r\ncorrectly after a period of time or the established connection failed\r\nbecause the connected host did not respond. (error 10060)"}}}''

Local (your) Time when Issue has occurred

win 10, phone a30s, after installing phonevr 1.1.0 beta and alvr 20.2.1 with ethernet

How To Reproduce your issue

installed the app Phonevr 1.1.0 beta and alvr 20.2.1 connect ethernet

Expected behaviour

client try connect and never connects

how i make it connect : restart steamvr 20 gazillion times

this is a common error which is happening on some systems, am unable to reproduce it. @cheezygt make a new Issue with your device info. This thread is opened for v1.1.0 PhoneVR

Found a way to fix it!

So make sure you have a VB Cable installed, then set your mic as it, and pc audio too, then restart SteamVR (And every time before you play you need to setup it like this)
When you start SteamVR, it will pop up that Game Audio and Mic can't be the same, so change your Mic to automatic, and it will connect, giving you both Audio (You can make it connect without audio if you turn off audio and mic) and instant connection

100% works in 20.11.1

Thank u very much! My computer had VoiceMeeter installed and set VoiceMeeter Aux as Headset microphone before, and I have this os error 11 problem too, it's quite annoying. I just try turn off the Headset microphone and the headset immediately reconnect. I also tried choose automatic as Headset microphone option but not works
