We will host a DjangoGirls workshop as a satellite event the day before the conference at the venue.
Hosting a DjangoGirls workshop as a satellite event promotes diversity and inclusion within the tech community by providing a welcoming space for women and non-binary individuals to learn programming and explore opportunities in tech. DjangoGirls is a globally recognized initiative with a proven track record of empowering participants and lowering barriers to entry into the programming world. By including this workshop in our conference, we actively contribute to building a more inclusive and diverse tech ecosystem, ensuring a broader range of perspectives and talents in our community.

We did this in 2024 as well (see here)[https://2024.pycon.de/blog/djangogirls-workshop/]

Larissa is the local lead for the orga, please sync with her. You can find her on our Discord.

Date: 22. April 2024 at darmstadtium
