Current situation

There are currently user accounts going around in this issue tracker and posting messages similar to the following:

Download
https://example.com/download/malicious.rar/file
password: changeme
in the installer menu, select "gcc."

DO NOT DOWNLOAD NOR EXECUTE OR EVEN UNZIP THE FILE(S)!

The distributed file is a malicious piece of software that most likely will try to steal sensitive information from you such as passwords stored in your browser, tokens from software like discord, etc.
Do not execute these files nor even download them!

What you should do instead

Report the comment in question to GitHub using the "Report" option. In the meantime will moderators such as myself take care of the comment, by deleting it and possibly taking further action on the user accounts in question.

Stay safe everyone!
