Hi, I'm new to PGP and PQC. However, I wanted to see if this library is going to get PQC any time soon because I would like to use it in my project. I say this because https://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2025q1/000489.html has added a PQC algorithm. Maybe this library could too. |

Hi 👋 Yes, we're working on PQC support based on the draft specification for PQC in OpenPGP. There's an experimental pqc branch, though note that the encryption format will still change once the standard is finalized, so don't use it yet for anything other than an experiment. Note also that, as far as we're aware, GnuPG doesn't implement the (draft) standard above but rather their own fork of the standard. Therefore, GnuPG's implementation of PQC unfortunately won't be compatible with most other OpenPGP libraries, including ours, if that matters to you. |
