I've been using MAST for a while. I found the number of DEGs are highly associated with the number of cells for different cell types, and I have used the "total_counts" and "nFeaturess_RNA" as the covariates. Do you have any suggestions? Should I add "the number of cell for each cell type" as a covariates? Does that make sense?
