Create a bridge between IRC and the discord general channels.

The discord bot has been created. Next steps are to add the discord information to the currently existing Matterbridge config

No current members seem very interested in IRC however there is interesting in bridging to Matrix. So I'm going to leave this issue open to track progress on that front.
