[BUG] RG35XX NEW black screen after install

Describe the bug

I make clean install of rocknix on my RG35XX NEW and unfortunately there is black screen whin it run OS after install

How to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Write ROCKNIX-H700.aarch64-20250115 on sd card and create correct dtb.img
2. Turn on device
3. Wait first step of install and reboot
4. Wait load step
5. See black screen

• Hardware Platform: Anbernic RG35XX NEW

Context

Power led is green when screen is black

When I try to randomly plug and unplug power cable while boot, sometimes there is low brightness screen and sound pops, and OS is started! But at next few seconds I hear sound pop again and screen goes black. Seems like there is a bug with power management. Other firmwares (like StockOS, Knulli, MuOS works pretty well on my device)

so you have a RG35XX 2024, the RG35XX without wifi and bluetooth
and using the RG35XX-2024 dtb doesnt works, but the RG35XX-Plus dtb works?

is that correct ?

@loki666 yes, it's correct. Only thing is not working is type-c ethernet adapter (it works on all other firmwares), but I do not know if it should work. All OS features working good.

Can corroborate this issue on RG40XXV as well. Instructions followed, plug in to power, press reset button. Device has black screen, power LED off, charging LED on. Left device alone for ~20-30 minutes then went to attempt power on again via power button. This time power LED on, screen on, first time setup completes and Rocknix is installed.

this doesn't makes sense.

I mean, -PLUS dtb will work on almost all RG35XX
on a -2024, it will fails to init wifi and bluetooth
on a -SP, the lid will not works
on a -H, the joystick and second USB will not works

but the -2024 should also works on all RG35XX, without wifi, bluetooth, lid, and sticks
-2024 is the dtb that all H700 inherit from, it is the base dtb

actually any H700 will boot with any dtb (even a wrong one), it will just not work properyl (screen garbaged, missing devices...)

Could you retry with a -2024 dtb, if the screen is black and no green led, it usually means it's not booting, and there are only 1 reasons for not booting

• dtb.img is not installed

so if you are sure dtb.img is installed, hit the reset button, sometimes the device is already powered on (but there is no green light) so holding power button for 2-3 sec doesn't do nothing

I retried with 2024 dtb, and next seen broken behavior again:

1. Turn on device with power button
2. Green led is on, and ROCKNIX boot log on screen
3. After few seconds screen is black, and push power button do nothing. Green led is on.

Sometimes last step is:
3. After few seconds I see emulation station menu with select of platform, but after 3-5 sec I listen pop from dynamic and screen is off, led is green, and push power button do nothing.

Is that when coming from muos? can you confirm trying to install after stock os?
