Hi. After moving the folder to the plugin folder my Jellyfin container is not restarting. I am using the latest vs of Jellyfin.

I will check on this tomorrow, it's possible that it needs to be updated as there are not many Jellyfin users.

Have you considered using the RPDB Folders app? It has more features than the dedicated plugins.

Hi. Did you get a chance to look at this? I can’t run the other version as the server is not mounted to a local drive.

@cstrand89 hi, can you try this one: Jellyfin.Plugin.RPDB.zip

I remember that Jellyfin has this weird quirk that requires me to rebuild the project on every Jellyfin update.

@cstrand89 Jellyfin does not crash for me with the RPDB plugin, it works as expected, here is my folder structure:

- %ProgramData%/Jellyfin/Server/plugins/
- - RPDB_1.0.0.3
- - - Jellyfin.Plugin.RPDB.deps
- - - Jellyfin.Plugin.RPDB.dll
- - - Jellyfin.Plugin.RPDB.pdb
- - - meta.json

(this is for Windows but it shouldn't matter as Jellyfin plugins are cross platform)

From the .zip file, only the RPDB_1.0.0.3 (not the RPDB folder or the Jellyfin.Plugin.RPDB folder, depending on how you unpacked the archive file) folder needs to be moved to the Jellyfin plugins folder, is this how you did it too?

@cstrand89 please keep me updated regarding the situation, my hopes are that you moved the "RPDB" folder instead of the "RPDB_1.0.0.3" folder to the Jellyfin plugin folder, and this is why it was crashing, if this is not the case and you still can't get the plugin loaded, please tell me what OS you are running Jellyfin on so I can try to reproduce it for that particular OS / environment

Hi. Sorry for slow response. I still have the same issues running Jellyfin on linux using this image: cr.hotio.dev/hotio/jellyfin:nightly

@cstrand89 oh, you are using the jellyfin nightly build, not the stable release..

nightly builds are expected to be buggy, they are meant for users to test them and find bugs until the release becomes stable, the plugin is meant for the stable builds

i'll look into it though, but this may take some time

@cstrand89 this addon does not create or access any meta.json file, though?
