I went to those coordinates and did not get that problem. Reminds me though of some time ago fighting a giant desert german soldier.

That is normal in c1m6.

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature ;)

This is strange… is there a randomizer in the code?

This might be related to occasional code changes to GZDoom devbuilds. Please test and confirm again, size randomizers have proper values set.

Happened to me today while working on c1m2 with the latest BoA build and gzdoom 4.13 pre 162.

giant random grass spawner

Not only large vegetation, but very small vegetation as well. Seems to be an issue with the random grass spawners, as opposed to just the grass spawners.

UPDATE ... Just now, while testing C1M3, I've been getting the large vegetation, and with boa_culling set to true. Not only that, the game runs at a near crawl. Never ever happened when I had this set to false.

Seems like this boa_culling is causing a lot of problems lately…

I think this has been a problem for a while.
I'm only guessing that boa_culling=true is the cause in this instance. Never had the issue when set to false.
Unfortunate too that this one cannot be reproduced every time.
You asked earlier if there are randomisers in the code. Yes, these ones are randomised flora.

The question is more if the randomizer also affects the scaling somehow.
