GZDoom issue 4.14 pre 120 and above issue - Breakable Vents. #1511

I made a report yesterday on the gzdoom git. Reply was: "BoA is using an older version of zscript, which used to have a less restrictive (incorrect) type system for arrays kept around for compatibility, that incorrect type system was removed, due to correctness issues, so the mod needs to be updated now" |

Should work after a1df60c. Just changed the array to Actors instead of PathFollowers. |
UPDATE ... Just downloaded the latest gzdoom dev build ... https://devbuilds.drdteam.org/gzdoom/gzdoom-x64-g4.15pre-25-g2f4714e0c.7z ... and this breakable vent bug seems fixed. Can others confirm ... |
Reopened ... With this dev.build ... https://devbuilds.drdteam.org/gzdoom/gzdoom-x64-g4.15pre-45-g162ab3c4e.7z The issue is back. But not with every vent. Just to add, the latest official gzdoom release to not have this bug is 4.13.2 |
GZDoom 4.14 pre 120 and above stuff up some breakable VENT_M02 textures. For example, if using this gzdoom beta , break open the vent in c3m1_b linedef 11464. The top and the bottom of the broken vent "shrink" ( show gaps top and bottom ).
