If one has multiple eups software stacks on a single computer system, any products declared locally (in ~/.eups) are seen by all stacks. This is never what I want. Given that eups can be used on stacks shared by multiple users, it seems clear that local products are essential, but it would be better if they could be stored in separate directories depending on which stack is in use.
