As all the examples are stored in a single GitHub repository, one usually just checks out the whole repo and adds it to the Code as a project folder. However, this does not work and individual example directories should be added as separate project folders in VS Code.
I think this would benefit from being mentioned on the Examples page. (Maybe even in the examples folder Readme file if ever created?)
