CVMSI GTL

CVMSI (scientific name CVM-S4.26.M01) is version of the CVM-S4.26 tomography improved velocity model, with the CVM-S4 GTL added back in, in order to restore the low Vs values in the top 350m. It is not considered standard practice to add the elygtl to this model, but these plots show the effects if it is added. The primary reason it might be added is to reduce the high GTL values outside the CVM-S4 GTL region

The vertical profile plotted below is at location USC:

  • LAT=34.0224
  • LON=-118.2851
  • STEP=1
  • START_depth=0
  • END_depth=1000
