Sprint Retrospective

As part of our commitment to inspect and adapt as a team we conduct a Sprint Retrospective at the end of every Sprint. Here are the results of our Sprint Retrospective:

✅ What went well?

  • JK - Upgrading from Azure SQL tier from B to S0 - promising load handling results!
  • Seth - Communication has been great between devs ↔️ product owner
  • JK - More stable API (by 39x we think) - and big performance changes still coming (blocked by SysAdmins at the moment)
  • Vlad - interesting learning about SSW.IdentityServer

❌ What didn’t go so well?

  • All - Many permissions issues slowing JK and Vlad down
  • Vlad and JK - F5 experience for MAUI is bad
  • JK - focus divided between TimePro, client, and miscellaneous

💡 What improvements will be made for the next Sprint?

  • Vlad and JK - potentially will need an Apple device to do UI testing on
  • JK - Codebase needs a review (DRY overfollowed in some places, leading to significant overfetching of data and reduced performance)

<This is as per the rule: https://rules.ssw.com.au/do-you-create-a-sprint-review-retro-email >
