Provide settings option to reset data on Event start (race, group ride...)?

ZAM operated this way, it started gathering data after Event started and calculating max, avg, etc., from the even itself.
With Sauce you have the option of manual reset of course, is there any way this could be automated and toggled as an option?
A long warm-up avgs are useless for the race data.
